I remember the night of a New Year's eve and one of my presents was a musical instrument. I remember sitting at the sofa with my grandparents and trying to play it. I also remember wearing a red dress that I really liked. I was approximately 3-4 years old at that time. I don't think there was an extreme condition that makes me remember this memory other than the fact that it was a new year's eve and that I love spending time with my grandparents. My personality is the same if we consider the fact that i still like playing musical instruments and spending time with my grandparents as much as I did then.

I think it is interesting that most of the memories I have read so far have had to do with interactions with family. While you say here that you don't see any extraordinary circumstances in this memory, I think the interaction with your grandparents and the emotional connection there is what makes it important to you. I think that this applies to many of the other memories, too, especially where people have said there was nothing particularly interesting about the situation that they remember. What is special about these moments and what has made them fixed in so many people's memories is, I believe, not what you are doing but who you are with.
