Earliest Memory Lab

I remember being about two when this happened. It was my friend at the time and I sitting on a whale (not a real one) at seaworld in Florida. The thing that makes it memorable is that he started hitting me because he wanted to ride it alone. I'd say my personality is the same and that I feel a continuity with this person.

You say that it was the fact that you were hit that made this memory memorable. It seems as if it really is those extraordinary circumstances that helps us form our earliest memories and the ones that we distinctly remember.
