My earliest memory was from when I was about 4 years old. During the blizzard during the winter of 1996, I remember having a huge snowball fight amongst all of the kids living on my street-- one side versus the other. I barely participated because I was so young but I do vaguely remember hiding behind our car with my father as he helped me fill a bucket with snowballs. I then remember going inside at one point because my hands got extremely cold.
What made the memory so vivid was probably the fact that this was the first blizzard that I ever experienced. Its possible that I associated cold hands with this snowstorm after it was over so that whenever my hands got really cold, I was reminded of the snowball fight.
I am not exactly sure what my personality was back then but I believe based on the memory, I enjoyed interacting with all of the kids in the neighborhood. This is still "me" because I still enjoy talking and interacting with other people.
I can relate to this memory because I have a vivid memory of this same blizzard, fueled even more so by multiple pictures of the event. My parents took some creative initiative at the time and built a bunch of structures for my twin sister and me, of which I best remember there being a full snow slide with tiny stairs for out little kid feet. As scary as blizzards usually are, this one was probably one of my most fun memories from this time.
