I'm not sure what age my earliest memory is from. Maybe between 4 and 6? I remember going to the mall with just my mom and somehow getting separated from her. I don't remember being particularly scared (I think I just got distracted by some toy) but my mom definitely was. I think I just found a mall security guard when I realized my mom was no longer with me. I probably realized it was a more serious situation when I was reunited with my mom and saw her reaction, which may be why I remember it. It doesn't really feel like me since I don't remember the situation THAT well and its not continuous with other memories I have.
