My earliest memory is of almost drowning in a pool ( <- me in the water). I was probably like 4 or so at the time and somehow found my way into a swimming pool (these things happen, you know). My parents told me about it once or twice afterwards but didn't really emphasize it. It must have been pretty traumatic what with me almost dying and all.
