Another variable that might influence attachment and well-being later in life is the amount of time that an infant is exposed to someone- not even the "caring" that the caretaker necessarily does. Stockholm Syndrome may be an easy way to think about it; people form attachments due to basic proximity and exposure, not necessarily "love."If this type of attachment is also secure, will it lead to well-being?
